We weren't made to do motherhood alone.

Postpartum on Purpose, because we weren't made to do motherhood alone.

You've heard of finding your #momsquad, and having friends in the same season of life is important. Who else are you going to text during 2am feedings? Or laugh with over diaper blowouts?

But sometimes being in the same season of life means your mom squad can't help you when or in the ways you need. What then?

For that, you need a Grandma Tribe, a group of (usually grandma-aged) women who are ready and willing to help when and how you need.

  • Breastfeeding & sleep deprivation
  • Marriage & postpartum changes
  • Finding help when family can’t step in
  • Losing the baby weight (with grace!)

You’ve heard of finding your Mom Squad, but other moms may not be able to help you in the ways and when you need it. For that, you need to build your Grandma Tribe. I’ll show you how.

What the Postpartum on Purpose Podcast
is and isn't :

The podcast isn't a place to learn how to change diapers or bathe your baby (important as those things are). But it is where we talk about postpartum, all the way through your baby's first birthday, through your eyes.

It's not selfish to talk all about the mom, and here's why. Your love is the light of your whole home. When you are well cared for, everything (and everyone) else will fall into place.

So let's get you the know-how and the mindset you need to love who you become during postpartum.

That's right.

This isn't about "surviving" motherhood, especially that first year.

It's about loving who you become, drawing on the need to show grit, the invitation to growth in both your skillset and mindset, and the opportunity to lean into God's grace, trusting that He works all things to the good.

Meet Anne Marie

I'm a former ICU nurse turned SAHM and a part-time WFH Managing Editor for a women's health website.

I'm a mom to 4 young children, plus one miscarried baby. Like you, I love my kids and want to be the best mother for them.

I'm fascinated by the idea of growth during challenging times, and postpartum is a challenging time, no?

I started Postpartum on Purpose--a weekly podcast, released in bite-sized episodes--to help moms gain the skills and mindset they need to navigate PP. When a mom is well-cared-for, her whole family thrives.
